we all stayed quiet waiting for her to say what she wants, we were afraid inna she listened to what we were saying.

Me: ahlain!! ;)

Mariam: Anna ma yeet 3ashankom, Sara itgool chaikow ilsikar and get ready we'll go eat dinner.

So Laman I checked ilsikar it was high soo I took my dose and we went to have dinner.

We entered the tent I took what I want to eat and sat but I didn't eat straight away l2na my sugar was high. I took out my iPhone and opened twitter and I saw 2 new followers. When I checked who was it I saw Salim Al-flani and Saif Al-flani , I wasn't surprised. I then checked my dm's, nothin new. I tweeted "hungry!!!! This is not fair :("

I received a DM, it was from Salim!!!!!!!

Salim: you're having dinner al7een??

Me: Eee, when r u coming??

Salim: I'm waiting for them to get ready

Me: Ohhh okayy..... Ttyl

Salim: bye

Okay this just made my dayyy!!! Or night :p

Soo I just started eating dinner and Salim and his group entered the tent, Saif was with them, they were four boys and the nurse, he was also wearing the traditional thoub mal il U.A.E, tanned, facial hair, brown eyes, a bit tall oooo matroos, not fat.

I finished eating before my group soo I told them I'd like to go take stuff and then meet them in Bait il shi3ir.

I entered the tent And headed straight away to my bed because all my stuff was under it. I bent down and took my tooth brush and my tooth paster, I wanted to stand up u'll I felt some1 poking me. I turned around to find Mariam standing behind. I got up on my two legs and faced her.

Me: inte shitsaween hne?? 5ara3tenee :p 5laa9tee 3ashach??

Mariam: ee, kamalt bsr3a 3ashan ayee lach.

Me: Inzain shnw tabeen??

Mariam: bi'3ait agolach shay...

Me: Mariam being serious!?!? :-| amray..

Chapter 6

Just to clear things up, this is how our day passes in the camp:

- wake up at six get prepared and eat breakfast.

-after breakfast we exercise until it's 8.

-change our outfits and then we gather in in one of the tents 3ashan fe mo7athra about random stuff.

-we pray 9alat il thihir and rest, take our doses and have lunch.

-Rest till it's three and then it's activities time, u choose what u want to do.

-pray ilma'3rib and rest till its time for dinner

-we all gather in bait ilshi3ir, we have a talent show and f we're done we have a simple contest until its 10

-examine our sugar and take our snacks then go to sleep

Chapter 5

So I guess you should know about the girls I my group and the nurse.

-the nurse: not that tall, a bit chubby, mit7ajba, samra. Her name is Sara.

-Nora: the annoying one and doesn't shut up bsss she's sweet, I love her. Samra, black short hair and black eyes.

Mariam: mit7ajba, mo baitha wala samra, she's like Nora soooo annoying Bss lovely, black eyes and thin.

Zain: sooo cute and shy, we try sitting with her Bss she doesn't talk. Brown eyes, samra, mit7ajba, and thin.

We were chatting for almost 3until Sara galatlina Ina it's time for lunch soo we checked ilsikar and took our needed doses and went to have lunch.

Each one of us took what she wanted for lunch and sat on the table, a boy that I didn't know was sitting in front of me on the same table and was staring at Mariam who was sitting next to me.

Me: Mariam! Why is he staring at u chithe?

Mariam: Uff ignore him, mat3arfeen awlad Hal ziman?

We continued eating lunch until it was three il3a9ir. It was activities time oooo I didn't feel like going out so I sat n the main tent *the majlis*, got out my iPhone out and started playing temple run.

While I was focused on my iPhone playing I saw two boys coming in and sitting on the left side of the tent in front of me l2na I was sitting on the right side. One of them was SALIM!! And the other was his friend from the U.A.E too....

They kept staring Bss I acted as f I couldn't see them, oo after a while I saw them coming and the sat next to me.

Salim: Hala

Me: ahlain

Weirdo: how r u??

Me: il7emdillah Tamam =)) u??

Salim and weirdo: il7emdillah

Salim: hay my friend saif, a diabetic too.... He's 16

Me: okayy... Bss Tara ik he's I diabetic, all of the people in this camp are diabetic besides the stuff * I was a bit harsh*

Saif was tall, white, thin, brunette hair, he had a Mohawk Bss it was sooo small!

We got to know each other and sat there chatting for almost four hours

Salim: do u have any brothers or sisters??

Me: Fouz and ghazi, what about you guys, I'm the youngest

Salim: lulu and fawaz, I'm the biggest.

Saif: yousif and 7amad, I'm the youngest.



It was 6 ilma'3rib soo we said our goodbyes and we decided ina everyday we meet n the same place. I then went to the girl's tent prayed and sat with the girls.

Chapter 4

We entered the tent and each one took what she want from the buffet. There are four long tables, each twenty in one table. Me, il3anoud, and the rest of the group *i'll introduce them later* went to take there seats and started eating.

While eating my breakfast *which took almost 1 hour and a half* the U.A.E delegation arrived 😍 and Salim was one of them. Salim gave me thy sweet smile from far oo I did the same than I stepped on il3anoud's foot which was under the table

Il3anoud: ouch! Shsawait???

Me: la la u didn't do anything Bss I want to tell you something........

Il3anoud: what??

Me: choofy that boy over there *Salim*

Il3anoud: jameeeeel!!!!!!!

Me: hahahaha Adri, ilmohim today I bumped into him.....

Me: Uff la2!!! Let me finish -.- we had that small chat and I found out that his name is Salim.

Then our nurse told us that breakfast time is over l2na 6awlna and we have to go back to the tent oo after 30 minutes it'll be exersiceing time.

We went back to the tent oo I started chatting with Abdullah and jouri for a bit.

Me: just finished breakfast

I got nervous and started mumbling, he notice that soo he decided to apologize

Omg!!! Ma9dig what just happened! I hurried to the girls bathroom got cleaned and then went back to the girls tent waiting for the rest of my group and the nurse to wake up so we can have breakfast. While waiting for them I sat on my bed, got out my iPhone, and opened what's app

Il3anoud started tickling my feet oo by that annoyance I snapped back into real life oo I found kil our group ready to have breakfast so I locked my iPhone, threw it n my cross bag and we entered the cafeteria ready to have fu6oor

Chapter 2

I was so mad at jouri!! Why didn't She just tell me!!

So this chat continued between me an Abdulla until I arrived to 95eer (camping place) we decided to change the subject and when jouri comes we'll have a little talk.

I got down from the car, kissed my mom on her forehead and hugged her, then I took my bag and entered the tent and I saw il3anoud there. We sat and talked a bit and than she introduced me to our group until it was dinner time, we went to the buffet tent and ate dinner there, sat n a tent that is like a majlis for all the people n the camp (boys girls and staff.. Etc) took out snacks and went to sleep.


So let me tell u about the camp. There are five tents: girl's tent, boy's tent, mu9ala, 3iyadat 6abeeb, cafeteria, and the stuff's tent. Soo in our tent there are groups 3ala 7asab your age, soo I'm in a group of sixteens oo il3anoud is with me. We have our own area of beds oo 3ala kil group age there is a nurse. There are also delegations from the GCC countries. I remember the ones from U.A.E and the other from Kuwait. The one from U.A.E was all boys.

So the first official day of the camp was today (Friday) when I first woke up in the morning I changed my pj's Into red jeans and a gray blouse. I went to bush my teeth and get all cleaned in the bathroom whic was next to the masjid (far from the girl's tent)

On my way to the bathroom I took my iPhone and opened twitter and tweeted "starting our first day here I hope I enjoy this experience" while I was typing I bumped into something hard!!! And it hurted, I thought it was 3amood ilait Bss when I raised my head to see what was it I found a boy that was abt 160 or 170cm tall, not chubby nor thin, 3ade black hair that was covered with that thing that emirates people where on their heads and a thoob, and he was tanned!!! I guess he was my age aw Akbar. *my heart was melting min jamalah!!!

Chapter 1

So today is thursday and I'm not packed for the diabetes camp this afternoon, which will last four days.


I really can't wait!! soo me and il3anoud decided to skip school. After lunch I went up to my room took a shower and got prepared. When I was all ready I got out my white iPhone 4s and clicked on il3anoud's name to call her

I slipped my iPhone back into my jeans pocket, took everything in my mom's Lexus, and we were ready to go.

On my way there with my mom dropping me, I took my phone out and opened what's app and opened the chat between me, Abdullah, and Jouri.

Abdulla: u missed a lot...... Of FUN!!!

please let me introduce you guys to myself.

My name is Al-Dana and I currently live I'm Ba7rain. I'm half Kuwaiti and half Ba7raini and almost the whole family came to Ba7rain when 7arb il5aleej took place in Kuwait. I'm a 16 years old girl with diabetes and I'm the youngest between my siblings ( ghazi and fouz) fouz just got married to my cousin and went to live in Kuwait. Oo my parents idal3onee wayed!! I come from a rich yet motawth3a family and my parents are soo over-protective ooo we live in a big house. Mixed school How I look: white, bruenette hair that reaches till my shoulders (wavy) wide brown eyes oo my lips mashallah fag3een red 3ala pink (k2ne dracolla) i don't have many curves and I'm thin. 152 cm & and 42kg


Jouri: my best friend. Long,white, curly blondish brownish hair. She's the energetic one between us (me, Abdullah, and Jouri) she wears glasses. 170cm and 52kg


Abdulla: the funny and annoying one, the protective one! I love him!!!!!!! People say that the three of us are like a soul of a human in three bodies. And he's always there for us. He's tanned and has a tight body with a 6 pack lined perfectly on his tummy, but he's not huge like a mojasam, and he's tall. So the three of us are friends since we were kids. Ahlna were also in a mixed school and their friendship started there oo lay7ad al7een Mikamleen il7emdilla.
